NOEC (Nantyr Outdoor Education Centre) offers self catering accommodation and an array of residential course’s.

You will find the centre perched on the side of the Nantyr hills tucked deep in the Ceiriog Valley in the heart of North Wales. The centre sits about 2.5 miles west of the sleepy little village of Glyn Ceiriog and about 6 miles south west of Llangollen.

The area has loads to offer for those seeking everything from high adrenaline sports such as white-water rafting/canoeing, mountain biking, motor-cross and rock climbing to more tranquil pastimes such as horse riding, fishing and hill walking to mention a few.

The local village of Llangollen offers a bit of everything

with it’s scenic steam railway, horse-drawn canal boats,

white-water activities and numerous shops, cafes, bars

and restaurants as well as a brand new shopping centre

for all your grocery needs.

Slightly further afield is Snowdonia National park (30miles to the west) with some of the most stunning, breathtaking scenery to be had anywhere in the UK with Mount Snowdon at it’s heart. Within the National park you will also find Zipworld with Europe’s longest  Zip slide along with numerous other wild attractions.

Liverpool and Birmingham sit within easy reach to the east and for family fun, Alton Towers Theme Park is within a 2 hours drive near Stoke.
